Of note are the Codex Kaska, in Aztec, from Mexico, 1536; Codex Petich, in Nahuatl, from Mexico, ca. 1530; and a genealogy of Macuilxochitl with the name of the Spanish governor Luis de Castilla at the top, in Zapotecan, from Mexico, late 16th century.
